Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using SlothPost. They outline your responsibilities, our liabilities, and the rules of the platform.
1. What SlothPost is
SlothPost is an AI-powered social media scheduling tool for indie developers. It monitors your GitHub commits and Vercel deployments, generates social media posts in your writing voice using AI, and publishes them to X (Twitter) and Threads on your schedule after your approval. All posts require your explicit approval before publishing.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be 18 or older to use SlothPost. By creating an account, you confirm you are 18 or older. SlothPost is designed for individual developers and small teams building in public.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@slothpost.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Content and your responsibility
You are solely responsible for all content published to your social media accounts via SlothPost. AI-generated post drafts are suggestions — you review and approve each post before it is published.
- SlothPost does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.
- Do not approve and publish content that violates X's or Threads' terms of service.
- Do not publish false information, infringe third-party intellectual property, or post defamatory, harassing, or illegal content.
4. AI-generated content
Posts are generated using third-party AI models (Groq Llama 3.3 70B, Anthropic Claude Haiku 4.5). AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. You must review all drafts before approving publication. SlothPost and Abhishek Khanra accept no liability for the content of posts you choose to publish.
5. Connected accounts and OAuth
When you connect X, GitHub, or Threads, you authorize SlothPost to act on your behalf within the scopes you grant. SlothPost will only:
- Post content you have explicitly approved to your connected social accounts.
- Read commit metadata (not code) from your GitHub repositories.
- Receive deployment metadata from Vercel webhooks.
You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting the integration in SlothPost's settings or by revoking authorization directly on the connected platform.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use SlothPost to post spam, generate misleading or false information about your products, circumvent rate limits on connected platforms, or violate any applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
7. Availability
SlothPost is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.
8. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: SLOTHPOST IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ABHISHEK KHANRA AND SLOTHPOST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF SLOTHPOST SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR $10 USD IF YOU HAVE PAID NOTHING).
10. Governing law & changes

We may update these terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
